One of the best parts of being a children’s author is talking to kids who love books.

I get a lot of joy out of speaking with children about books, hearing their reactions to the characters and stories that I’ve dreamed up, and watching their imaginations take flight as they come up with story ideas of their own.

My school visits are appropriate for Years 4 through 7. I do an interactive talk, combining fun quizzes, a reading, and exercises to fire up the kids’ imaginations. I am happy to tailor my presentations according to the audience, and welcome input from teachers and librarians.
